About
Southeast Asia rewards
presence, not visits.
Nothing moves without a relationship. The distance between a European or North American factory and an Asian buyer is not measured in kilometres — it is measured in presence, patience and trust. We sell those years back to you.
Why we exist
The three-year problem.
Most companies arrive at the same three choices: open a subsidiary, send an expatriate, or trust a local partner found through a chance introduction. Each buys the same thing — two or three years spent discovering what a resident firm already knows.
Arago Point was founded in Singapore in 2024 to do one thing properly: convert advanced technology into real business in Southeast Asia. Not to write about the market, but to work it.
Our DNA
What the firm is made of.
Rooted in the region
We are not visitors. We live and work here, and the relationships that matter are kept warm continuously — not assembled when a tender appears.
We understand the product
We read a specification before a market study. Technical credibility is what earns the second meeting with an authority, an operator or an air force.
Straight to the decision-makers
Our contacts are the people who decide, not the people who pass the message along. That is the difference between an introduction and an opportunity.

The comparison
Three ways in.
Indicative first-year cost of covering Southeast Asia.
| Expatriate on the ground | Three business trips a year | A partner already there | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Year-one cost | USD 300–400k | USD 60–90k | Let’s talkRetainer and success fee |
| What it covers | Base salary and bonus, housing, schooling, flights, local entity, legal and payroll | Three trips of about two weeks — flights, hotels, per diem, six weeks of executive time | A resident team, travel inside the region, and a fee tied to firm orders |
| Time to network | 24–36 months | Never | Weeks |
| Risk | The network leaves with the person | No continuity between visits | Paid on results, not on presence |
Comparison figures are indicative market rates for a first year of Southeast Asia coverage, shown to frame the decision rather than to quote a price.
